Book lovers of the Babel, Alliance Grenoble-Oxford and Open House associations  have agreed to give away some of their favorite books to set up an English library. There are at least 1,500 books. There is a good selection of fiction for adults and children, good dictionaries may be consulted in situ and the biography, poetry and general non fiction section is being beefed up. Come and browse. Moreover the location is lovely and peaceful with its pleasant shady courtyard, an oasis of peace in the centre of town between the Museum car park and the police station.
Nonmembers pay E 15 per year or E 7.6 for students and the unemployed.
Opening hours are :
Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m.
Wednesday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Saturday noon to 5 p.m.
